Seth grew up in Evans, Georgia, where he graduated from Evans High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University before attending law school in Atlanta. After receiving his law degree, Seth began his legal career with a real estate foreclosure firm in Norcross, Georgia, followed by work with a startup company in Richmond, Virginia, and later with a large international corporation in a compliance role after returning to the Augusta area.

Seth then spent a little over six years practicing with David L. Huguenin, P.C., where he focused on real estate and closing-related matters. In 2024, he co-founded Newsome Shearouse, LLC with Clint, bringing his experience and local knowledge to building a modern, client-focused closing firm. Seth is licensed to practice law in Georgia and South Carolina.

Seth lives in Grovetown, Georgia, with his wife, Emily. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golf, hunting, fishing, attending Georgia football games, and traveling.

Clint grew up in Columbia County and graduated from Greenbrier High School. He moved out west to attend Montana State University. There he was able to complete his bachelor’s degree while also pursuing his passion of fly fishing. From there, Clint came back south to attend law school. Out of law school Clint clerked for two Superior Court judges and then joined David L. Huguenin, P.C. After ten years with that firm, Clint and Seth opened Newsome Shearouse, LLC. Clint is licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer and they share three children; Lucy, Molly and Mark. Outside of the office, Clint is active in church, is a past president and long time member of the Columbia County Rotary Club, sits on the board of Rise Augusta and is involved in several other community groups. Whenever there is free time, Clint enjoys fly-fishing, golf and being outdoors with the family.

Kenia Shealy, originally from El Salvador, is fluent in Spanish and English, allowing us to better serve our diverse clientele. Her values of family and faith, along with her collaborative spirit, will undoubtedly enhance our team’s success. We look forward to the positive impact she will bring as we continue to grow.

Christy was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. She graduated from George Washington High School. She received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Kanawha Valley Community and Technical College in 2012. In her years of paralegal experience, Christy has worked with oil and gas leases, handled residential real estate closings, commercial real estate closings, estate planning and probate cases. In her free time, Christy enjoys camping, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and cheering on the WVU Mountaineers.
